Aquatic Survival International’s (ASI) Ocean Survival, Safety, and Contingency Preparedness Course of Instruction is specifically designed to improve a student’s breath-hold performances under stress with increased comfort, confidence, and overall contingency preparedness. We place a high emphasis on essential safety protocols, problem recognition and management skills, and rescue procedures related to hypoxic events. We address panic control related to breath-hold contingency response preparedness due to underwater breathing equipment failure or the loss of an available air source.
We provide highly specialized breath-hold survival, safety, and emergency preparedness training to the special operations community, athletes (surfers, sailing crews, whitewater kayakers, etc.) and aquatic professionals working in, or exposed to, aquatic environments ranging from aviators, swift water rescue crews, fire departments and other first responders looking to improve breath-hold performances under pressure to increase the chances of survivability in unforeseen situations.
